So I was fooling aroudn with yahoo answers today but I kept getting slapped with goddamn error 999 which is essentially a ban list. How do I get around this, I was making php redirects and then making them tiny url, since the redirect was to long. T_T

Why not use a direct link? Or try another url shortener service!

Anyhow a direct link is much better unless of course your just promoting an affiliate link without a pre-sell which won't convert too well if at all!

I did also looke yahoo answers another day and I answered some questions but the links I left where not live. So I am wondering what could be the problem or how do get the links live?

You need a level 2 account for the links to be live!

But it doesn't make all that much difference to begin with so don't worry about it... just earn those points and level up.

I am just wondering, once I get to level 2 will all the links I have left previously will go live or only the links I have left after I have reached the level 2.

And when you say it does not make that much difference, do you mean live links or yahoo answers in general.

Just be careful about spamming too much. You can get banned pretty quick if you are earning points too fast and putting in similar URLs i believe

I did post few answers there and it actually showed that how many posts I had remaining, that I was allowed to make on that day. I do not know if I m going to post there regularly anyway, I would prefer blog commenting or forum postings. Just do not have time to post everywhere.

Yea I posted on Yahoo Answers quite a lot. Let's just say that you will get sales, but it takes a LOT of answering in order to make a substantial income online. I mean replacing your day job isn't that realistic with Yahoo Answers, BUT you can earn quite a bit of dough if you work at it.

You can get more volume if you hire a posting service. You can find them by googling 'Yahoo Answers Posting Services' (without the quotes) or anything similar. I see there is at least one Warrior, Username 'global_warrior', advertising his services in that area, at the following link:

          http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-low-cost.html

There are also YA posting services advertised at BlueFartWorld.com, but you would need to use appropriate caution there. Better to deal with a Warrior, I think. I haven't tried global_warrior, but may do so. Evidently he welcomes small orders (like $5) as well as big ones.

          Hope this helps.

P.S. When I entered this post I didn't type in "BlueFartWorld.com" in my last paragraph above ... I typed in the name of another website, one often referred to as BHW, but I see someone changed it! That's interesting. Maybe BHW is a dirty word. I dunno.

    bit.ly, a simple url shortener

Probably my favourite url shortner, give it a go, it reports stats such as referrals and countries you're getting clicks from.

I've had some pretty good results from YA, but you need to be very careful in my experience. They seem to be quite hot on people promoting themselves and I limit my posts to 2 maximum a day...

You must add value or you will be quickly banned.

    use a IP cloaking software

I ran into the same problem on a project a couple months ago, not for yahoo answers, but for something else related to yahoo services...

after working out what was needed to be done to get around it, the project was dropped.
