How to: membership site w/Physical products

I want to start a membership site that offers physical products to it's members. How is the best way to build the site? I've looked a joomla and other traditional ways of building a site but I don't know anything about that.

What is your advice for someone with no experience in site building and very little budget.

If I knew what to do I might use virtual assistants but it is hard to ask them if you don't know what to ask for.

What are your suggestions? Where do I start?

Is this 100% physical, or will you need to give them online content as well?
You will need some tech help, but amember, wordpress and a couple of plugins and you can hook into kunaki etc..

My suggestion to you is to get a good capture page and start building a list. Create a couple products, maybe a $7 product, $49 product and then a continuity product like a phsysical newsletter.

The biggest thing especially with physical product offers is the amounts of quality that you are sending. You did not mention what niche that you are in, but im going to pretend that you are in the IM/Make money at home.

There have been very few offline continuity products that I have paid for beyond the 2 month point. The information is less than spectular and often something I can find in some of the blogs that I have FREE subscriptions too.

So, if you pursue the membership site make sure that you over deliver and under price your offer.

HELP NEEDED! My Mother And Her Brother have been taking care of the mother with the help of Hospice. He just had a Massive Heart Attack while taking a short vacation. My mother had to go to Florida from Indiana to be with her brother and is not financially stable from being off work to be with grandma. Any Help Would Be Appreciated. http://www.gofundme.com/vg5kt4c

No experience and little budget. Hmmm...that leaves little options.

    Here's an idea...

    Manage it by hand first.
Put up a Paypal subscription button, when orders come in, mail them out.
Track everything with a spreadsheet and calendar.
Paypal actually offers a way to put in shipped info to protect your sale.

If it takes off, reinvest the profits into a product like this: Disc Buddy - Kunaki Delivery Automation by The Disc Buddy to automate the process.

Or even better, invest in Nanacast...they have memberships that can send out a CD/DVD of the month on autopilot using Vervante, Kunaki or Disk.com.
