How much faith should you put in Affiliate Managers?
Im working on a good converting product and am using the suggestions given by my Affiliate manager as to what sales copy works best and what media buys are converting. I ran a test campaign last night on a high traffic website and got the following numbers.
100,000 page views (my ads)
383 clicks to my sales page
26 clicks to the offer
no conversions
its a high involvement cpa offer that pays $40, and i have only spent $28 so far, but im hesitant.
I guess what im really asking here is my affiliate manager just trying to get me to try out different stuff by telling me it is high converting in said traffic areas? There are competitors advertising related products on the same site, so it must be selling. Any thoughts?
