It is weird I will get nothing from there for some time and then I will get a ton of traffic from there. I would suggest that you are always submitting to there plus many other places like digg.

It really comes down to if you have something worthy of getting bumped (upvotes)

If no one likes it you'll never get much traffic. However, I have seen some content rise to the top of front page and get extraordinary traffic, though usually shortlived
