Pro and Cons of .co.cc domains?

Lately I have been using a lot of .co.cc domains every week i keep launching new products with .co.cc domains. I have not done any SEO yet hence the site is not indexed on any of the search engines yet.

Out of curiosity is there any pros and cons of using .co.cc domains? Will these sites get indexed at the same rate as using a .com if the same effort of SEO is done?

    I used more than 200 co.cc domains before with autoblogs and yahoo answers and here is what I remember (That was 2 years ago)...

    pros:
    >> easy to manage, you can switch dns fast (for newbies)
    >> easier to get index than .info
    >> more niche keywords are still available

    cons
    >> you can't sell it when you don't want it anymore
    >> co.cc not so popular to people who are not using bookmarks

    Pros: Free

    Cons: Looks cheap and no one will remember it. Also looks foreign.

    It's good if you need a lot of short domain names that looks "semi" professional.

    But for big projects, investing in a domain name would be good in my opinion.

    Myself I avoid any sites with such extensions, the name just screams warez site to me.

      Problem with .co.cc is that you will never get PR on them as it is not a "real" domain. The real domain is co.cc I use to use it until all of a sudden they want $3 a domain after the first year. I got my self 2 letter domain for the same purpose oz.am I own it and can do any sub domain on it as I please. Cost is $50 a year and the domain is PR1 already.

      I have a article directory on there now but is also going to offer free email on the domain youremail @ oz .am I will use it for marketing and building a list

      There is still some 2 and 3 letter domains left on the .oz tld which is for the country Armenia and they great people and it seems a nice little place

    Some people might not agree but I have tested this myself and the

    difference between conversion rates is huge between free and .com domains
