Any pitfalls with adding an affiliate's tracking code to my Clickbank download page?
I've been approached a couple of times by affiliates wanting to add their tracking code to my Clickbank download page. The most recent request was by a company (see http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-partners.html) that also wanted to mirror my site for testing purposes (?).
The first affiliate wanted to add their Google tracking code in order to track their Adwords campaign. The last company wants to add a "3-line javascript tracking link pixel" on my download page though they haven't said exactly what it was for.
Does anyone know of any pitfalls in adding the tracking codes for affiliates? And aren't there already some other ways they can track their campaigns without having to embed it onto my site?
