Fair price for article writers

Hey Warriors,

I am looking to hire a good article writer.... English as a first language. I am looking for 40-50 articles with specific keywords added in. In addition to the articles be written, I am also looking to have each article spun so that I can avoid the Google duplicate content penalty during mass distribution. All the articles will be related to the personal finance niche.

My question is based on your experience, what price-range do you think is fair?

I am just looking to get some numbers before I begin looking for someone.

Thanks,

Brandon

Are you talking about cheap, ok quality articles?

Or the ones that are 'blow my mind away' good and converts well? To separate things.

For the first one, you can get it for under $100. For the latter, Probably $500-$1,000... and trust me, it's worth it if you have a good product to offer. You'll get your ROI back in no time

hi moneyblogger, in reference to alexa, it really depends on the purpose you have in mind for your articles. If you want to do solely article marketing, I would suggest you go for short 250-300 word articles that have specific but discrete call to action.

Ex. "its fairly important to do this as soon as possible coz if you don't, this might happen and blah blah blah" and then offer a solution in your resource box.

I found these kind of articles work pretty well.

And with regards to your question, I would suggest you outsource them to the philippines if your on budget. Otherwise, there are a lot of great article writers here in WF.

    Hope this helps.

Hello moneyblogger, I have to agree with Alexa that the prices are variable. It all depends on what you need. I too do recommend you start with a small bunch to test the quality of the writer. There are a lot here at WF, I can also recommend one if you opt not to utilize the person Alexa recommended. On another note, I know some people outsource articles to Philippines, but when it comes to my articles I rather spend the money with a US writer. Not only am I ensuring that I have a native speaker/writer, but also providing that the money stays in the US. Every little bit I can do to help another American looking to make ends meet, I DO.

I would expect to be paying $4-$6 per article around 300 words. I think you had a link up there for a writer who is charging $25 !!! cripes!!

    Best Wishes

You will find that article writer prices vary widely - and you may get lucky and get good articles for a lower price.

I have used WriteOn Articles - Vincent has a thread here I believe. His articles now start at $7 for 500 words. If I had the budget I would use them again. I am VERY particular about my writing and most of the articles that I got, I didn't have to change a thing.

I would say $800-$1000. Easily. Quality writing stands out from the rest. Perusing the internet, I discover that most articles I read are written by people whom are not fully adequate with the english language. They also sound very stale. Articles that captivate me will have me clicking on links like a fiend.

I agree with the above poster that investing in quality articles will produce a hasty ROI and ensure future in-flow.

Well, everything depends on the project (topic/niche, number of words per article). As a company, our price depends on the skill sets required and how much job can be expected. We are charging $795 for our full time writer working full time (8 hours daily).

How many articles do they write per day.

Nathan, I could not agree more. I rather pay the person that does my articles her fees, than pay $1 pero 100 words, which I will then have to send back for editing, rewriting or have to do it myself. WHY bother to pay when I still have to do some work? I have to agree that many people underestimate the work a good writer puts in. And, as I said before, I rather hire an American writer, which guarantees I will have someone who grew up speaking and writing English than someone who learned it later on in life. I am not trying to discriminate against those who outsource their articles, to each its own. But most ARTICLE WRITERS make their living off of writing, and truth be told, in the US a $1 will get you a Candy bar... IF EVEN THAT!!! It will not pay bills. So lets respect the work of those that write and help us spread quality content about our sites and our businesses!

Our full time service is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week in a month. $795 is our monthly rate.
The number of article that our writer can produce depends on the number of words and the niche of the article.
