I've just set up new download system that uses payPal but, since I can't send money to myself, I was wondering if someone would volunteer to do a test purchase (it's only $7).

    Thanks everyone... I had someone purchase and, needless to say, the whole thing came crashing down.

    I opened a free developer's account with Paypal's sandbox the other day (https://developer.paypal.com/). It takes just a few minutes. With that in place I now perform test purchases (at the actual prices) quickly and smoothly.
