I did, and it seems there are a whole bunch of videos at Youtube about how to get ranked well at Youtube.

Where can you find some good information about marketing on Youtube? Specifically how to get videos ranked on the first page?

Hmm. Try this: rather than trying to get your videos ranked, why not find videos that are already getting traffic and videos that are connected to your niche or product that have no links associated with them (that is, existing videos that are getting traffic and steadily increasing views over time)?

Any video owner that's getting traffic but who has NO understanding of IM might be glad of the cash. You offer the video owner cash to place your link on their video, or, better yet, you offer them a larger sum to buy the rights to their Youtube channel. Many such content producers have other videos that are also getting lots of traffic but that again aren't geared up to send traffic to any link where the aforementioned link clicker can spend money.

Do this with videos that are connected to your niche and you don't have to create content OR get it ranked, because someone else has already done that for you.
And if you do this with videos that are getting decent numbers of visitors (and have done so over at least a year) you're pretty much guaranteed that, if the content is appealing enough, that people will watch again and again. And every time they watch, there's your link, sitting there, just begging to be clicked on. More so if it's significantly aligned with the subject of the video and with their desired outcome.

This, in a nutshell, is George Brown's "Traffic Ultimatum" package, but without the affiliate links and the hype.
