Ok, so the company I'm working for has a big ol' database of users within Netsuite as a CRM, and they also utilize it for the shopping cart.

I'm looking to run an email marketing campaign, and want to utilize AWeber, but I'm wondering if it's worth looking into what Netsuite can do in comparison before delving into the training videos of Netsuite.

I'd like to run a Frank Kern 4 day Cash Machine style campaign in April / May to pick up on sales and get some attention prior to the big summer retail push (Gifting industry) but I'd need to start training now if I go the Netsuite route.

Has anyone on the forum had any experience with Netsuite? Specifically the ability / inability to deliver emails like AWeber can? (not getting blacklisted, etc). They will be legitimate emails with real product (non spammy). We pay a fortune for Netsuite, and I suppose I'm wondering if it's worth having to export everything over to AWeber each month for new clients etc.

    eflo,

The issue may not be Netsuite's capabilities to pop out an email.

The issue may lie in deliverability of the message.

Netsuite is a hosted solution as I recall, and they may very well have restrictions in place on how many emails you can send.

If you have a significant size list, blasting these emails out to the likes of AOL, hotmail, gmail (they're pretty good), yahoo mail accounts, will likely find a big majority not being delivered at all.

On one of my sites, I have a pretty good size list of about 69,000 email addresses. 4 months ago I began sending out a weekly newsletter, and I swear, some of these people this week act like they've seen it for the first time ever....

Personally, if Netsuite does in fact broadcast emails, then I think that is the least of your concerns.

BTW, I have a dedicated server, and I use my own hosted solution (phplist) for shooting out my newsletter.
