HELP!

I am completely new to IM and I have been scanning the forums for a couple of days now. The result is that I am more and more confused about what to start with. I have two issues:

1. I need to learn what TO DO.
Is there one comprehensive product that covers the basics - like a foundation I can build on - that is hands down the best to start with? (PS my starting level is really zero i.e. I didn't know what Wordpress or CPA mean)

If not, what courses/materials would you recommend and in what order?

2. I need to learn what NOT TO DO.
is there a centralized database of mistakes for newbies?

    For a start, you should start reading some hot topics here in the forum, there are plenty of products that can get you started, but it all depends on the business model that you choose, each course will teach you how to make money in a different way, most popular are affiliate marketing, CPA, adsense, product creation, article marketing, etc.

    If you are short of cash, you can start with the Thirty Day Challenge
    and if you have some money to invest, look for a complete product to get you started in the special offers section, or suscribe to the War Room, you will find plenty of top notch material there

    What not to do -> Sit back and wait.. take action now..

    there's loads of info on this forum.. but i'd recommend starting with clickbank, get into some article marketing and then learn, learn, test, try, learn, screw up until you start to 'get it'..

    Watch ya.

    When l first started out l didn't have a clue what to do. I made the mistake of paying a so called guru for information on how to make money on the internet. The information he gave me was rubbish. So my advice for you is to do you research on these people who tell you that you can make a fortune on the internet from day one. There is no magic button what will generate you money, it take's hard work.

    Whilst learning you must take action. Take one step at a time. There is a lot of free information that can teach you the basics.

    My advice is to not pay for anything yet. In the Marketing General forum alone there are 1174 pages of content ready and ripe for you to jump into. These boards have something that can't be bought and thats experience. I've read about the trials and tribulations of many in these very threads and its a great way to get your feet wet without spending a dime.

    Research is your friend!

      You can skip the html knowledge by using free blog platforms, Blogger or Wordpress. Get quality content out and build backlinks. Add AdSense and start right away... That's a simple stupid plan.
