Self cartoon - where can I get this done?

INTERNET MARKETING

Say I have a blog and want to get a cartoon of myself to use as the logo.. where can I get this done? Would anyone be able to recommend some sites or designers for this?

I've already tried searching Google, but all I can seem to find are those cartoons with small bodies and big heads, which isn't really what I'm after. Just a mini cartoon, but with a normal sized head.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you are going to need the hep of a cartoonist for that one. There are some advanced softwares that can transform a picture of you into many different cartoon type characters, but they are usually expensive softwares mostly used by animators.

heyy, if you have photoshop you can do this yourself too, kind of! Just upload the image to the document, click on filter, then on artistic or sketch, and choose which one you want!

Believe it or not but I made one myself and I suck at drawing. I used MyWebFace.com, their designer is very user-friendly and everybody says that the avatar looks just like me and asking me who drew me so professionally. Check them out.

Thanks guys! Alot of good recommendations up there too. I especially like CartoonMe.com and ToonBoss.com

I actually have Photoshop, so I'll see what I can do with that too, but I'll probably stick to hiring a professional for this one - I couldn't design to save my life.
