Edit: Because people don't seem to understand the point I was making, and I don't have time for all this grief. I'm removing the post.

    I disagree with this post.

I think you need to follow the successful gurus like Frank Kern and stick to their products.

Okay - some products might be bad but I think you need to look at the bigger picture here.

Success comes from buying products and implementing the strategies.

If you are not going to take action and create threads like this in forums then it won't really help you would it?

Marketers can be the biggest lying thieves in the world, greedy *******s praying on the poor and needy. I have no respect for these people at all.
They keep churning out these products rehashing the same old ****, simply because it sells. That's not a good enough reason if you're a decent human being that cares about the people around you.
So you think Frank Kern is "greedy"? I am on his list and the amount of content he gives away does not indicate he is greedy.

I am sure if you had a list of 20,000 responsive people you would do the same

No insane claims, no fancy secrets, no hiding the truth that it takes hard work. Just straight to the point information. I'm so sick of these hype marketers that care nothing for the customer, only for their own wallets.
Everyone wants to make money. You want to make money and so do the guys who create products - what is the problem?

Good Luck in whatever you do.

In my opinion, success comes from thinking outside the box while still keeping it simple. If you are smart, you won't need much help really.

I don't know why you people seem to think I'm not successful, that I'm not already making money. I am already making money online. I have already taken action. But I haven't bought a lot of products, and I'm not a subscriber to many lists.

Once again, I said that there are good products out there. Just that most of them aren't needed. And I never mentioned names. Quite frankly, I'm not that familiar with many of the gurus. I don't need to be.

But I also said that the products being marketed on forums are the way to go. Because you can read people's opinions about them. This thread wasn't meant to mock the entire IM niche. It was meant to help people steer clear of the bad ones.

Well, first of all I'm not in the IM niche. Second of all, no matter the size of my list I would only give them good quality products that they NEED. What I'm complaining about are the constant re-hashes and scams being marketed by people. People don't need that.

The problem is product quality. The problem is people not caring about the customer.

Once again, I never said there were only bad products. But many of the new products don't contain anything I didn't already know, or learned on my own for free.

And I wasn't just talking about IM products, if you'd read my post there are many people selling ****ty products promising to cure cancer or whatever bullsh*it statement they make. And the same kind of empty promises exist in the IM niche.

I'm not saying all of them are like that, but many of them are.

One mans meat is another mans poison... who are you to decide what every person on your list needs or doesant need.

Some people need advanced, some people need simple

some people need software, some people need ebooks, some people need both

some people need what you call rehash because they haven't seen it before

Some people need the same information packaged differently because the medium it was produced in before didnt quite explain it the way they would get it

some people need different products than you... Only sending them promotions for what you need, or how you want them is a disservice to your customers and subscribers

No, I know that. I'm starting to feel like I worded my post badly. One product I really liked back in the day was Affiloblueprint. That's a really good beginners guide to affiliate marketing.

Now obviously I don't need that guide, but I can still see that it's good. And I would gladly market it. Because it works, and it doesn't promise unrealistic things.

Then there's the things like products promising you'll be on the first page of Google in 24 hours for any keyword using this über secret method. Or another saying you'll get thousands of backlinks doing nothing.

I won't mention names as I don't like badmouthing people. But those products just aren't useful to anyone because THEY DON'T WORK. And they don't do what they promised.

Still I found the first product being marketed by a Guru on a list I subscribed to. The guru himself had a good product that I marketed, and that's why I was on his list. But he also marketed bogus products, so I unsubscribed. Simple as that.

And by re-hashes that didn't say anything new. Yes, others might find them useful. And if the information is good, I guess it's fine. So I take that back.

    Hey Imran!

His list is a lot bigger than that. If you were to say twenty times bigger you would still be way off.

You are 100% right though - Kern isn't greedy though, otherwise he would just churn and burn his list and replace it with newbies every few months.

There are bad products, true but there are good products too.

You just need to be more careful and do some homework before diving into whatever system out there.

I've been lucky to actually find some great products. Not all of products out there are bad. There are honest and dishonest people in this business like there are also anywhere else...

In every industry there is good and bad. Do your research and learn who offers consitently quality items, or real information. The problem is that people are quick to grab products promising incomes without lifting a finger, and then find that rarely is the information inside detailed or even written by someone who has done it!

Impulsive purchasing, its the same everywhere.

I have made money online. Well, I am making money online.. but I'm not doing it by wasting my hard earned cash on a bunch of products. I'm doing it by putting in the work needed. How do you think the "gurus" themselves started out? Someone had to be first, and they didn't have any other guidance than their own brains to help them.

And I never said there wasn't any good products out there. What I said was that most of them aren't needed. Pick ONE really good product that isn't all hype. Follow the advice and KEEP DOING IT! And you will be successful. Don't start looking for even more products and more advanced techniques. YOU DON'T NEED TO! I sure didn't.

Some products are good, some aren't so good. What you need to remember though is that it is still all down to personal opinion. One person may love a particular product whilst another might find no value in it. Each to their own and we all have our own needs and preference.

Yes, I just know as a newbie how hard it was to find my way around the jungle of products out there. I was just trying to help, but I feel my message got lost in translation from my head to the board so screw it.

What you should do is find a mentor and copy what he or she does. I started following Mike Filsaime and Frank Kern a year ago and have had a lot of success. Frank Kern is by far my favorite mentor in Internet Marketing.

I also follow George Brown. If your a newb and looking for some real direction to make some money withing the next month I suggest Google Sniper by George. I think its still a top clickbank IM product.

    Anyway good luck!
