Landing page and article directories

Hi,

I was just thinking if you submit articles to article directories,do they also check the url's you put in your article or signature?

I ask you this cause I'd like to know if they accept simpel landing pages?

Thanks for letting me know.

Richard

They do check, at least EZA does, and if they find a broken link or something wrong with your landing page itself, they may refuse that website in your author box until the issues are fixed. I am not completely sure about other article directories, but like this forum, I would definitely have to think that someone is monitoring the links in author boxes.

Landing pages are accepted, if you are promoting another product or your own, they are accepted, yes. Just make sure that your landing page meets their TOS requirements. Every article directory has a TOS which you are supposed to read when singing up, and I'm sure you could easily find it, since I don't know which directories you are talking about specifically here.

If you want to know, take a look at some of your competition and see what they are doing, what kinds of websites they have, and what kinds of articles they are submitting etc etc etc, as that will also give you a good idea of what is allowed.

It's allowed. If you are promoting another product, and want to make a landing/sales page which redirects to the original product fine. If you want to make a sales page which directs to your product fine. If you want to make a sales page which directs to one of your client's products that you will be selling for them, that's fine too.

The only instance where it wouldn't be fine is if the sales page was directly stealing someone else's product, spamming or doing something out of line. Which doesn't sound like what you are trying to do here.
