Database Error? Is it just me?

All day today, I've been getting a Database Error when trying to access WF. It's happened in the past, but not like today. Is it my connection or is this happening to you too?

ETA: Even more strange...the WSO section only has around 320 viewers and the main forum around 150? I've never seen numbers so low!

    NOPE, not just you Lisa. Various times today I have had to retype some of my comments. And I, like you, thought it was my connection. SO I am glad to know I do not have to call the internet service provider.

    I have a question, have they been working on the situation since Sunday? I could not login all evening. I thought it was my connection, but it's a good thing I am noticing the problem is not at my end. Today, it only happened the first time I tried to login, but now it seems to be working fine.

    I've been having this for the past 2 weeks or so--a lot of timeouts and
    database errors, so I'm getting in the habit of copying the post before
    hitting the post button as Allen advice, even though sometimes if you
    hit the back button you can recover your deep thoughts.

    Glad to know it's not just me. I just updated to a new antivirus, etc, and spent the weekend uninstalling the new stuff just in case it was me. Looks like I didn't break the internet after all!

      It's part of the growing pains of a huge forum.

      And considering it's the greatest forum on the planet, it's worth the little
      inconvenience from time to time.

      I've noticed the worst part of the day is usually around noon to 2 PM my time.

      Early morning and evening aren't too bad.

      Might want to plan your posting around the traffic jams.
