How to embed camtasia vids into word press blogs

I know how to embed them into html sites,

But what is the process for embebding them into a self hosted wordpress site.

Would I have to create a new directory inside of the wp-content folder then embed the script code after uploading the video files into that directory?

I am on a low budget, so everything has to be self hosted

    I would think that you can add it the same as you would any other video that you have to upload.
    Look where it says upload/insert below the title in the editor - click on the video button >> upload >> add in your info, as you would for a photo, and click insert into post or page what ever the case may be. It will upload to your wp-content/uploads folder and be inserted in your page.

    You can upload to your site as normal, outside the WP directory.. upload everything, the vid, the html etc

    Now go to the page where the video is and hit view page source.

    Inside there you get some code that you can paste into any other webpage.. just make sure the 'src' is pointing to the right place, save and you're good to go.

    Put it anywhere you like, it doesn't matter as long as you have the correct source.

    Hi Gwriter, when I first started on wordpress and embedding videos, I found that there was a limit. I didn't want my videos to be in the public domain so I simply use Amazon s3, Amazon simple service storage. Upload my vids on their server for storage and then embed the html code on my post.
