Hello Warriors, I am a complete newbie to the IM world, but have been designing web pages and doing SEO for 7+ years now. I just made my first squeeze page, and I was wondering what you think of it.

Top 15 Most Important On-Site SEO Tweaks

I appreciate any and all input. Thanks in advance for the help!

First off, congrats on your first squeeze page - you're ahead of about 99% of other people who try to make money online!

This just my 2 cents, so take it for what its worth (this is what I would do if it were mine):

    1. I would somehow take out "Most Important" in the headline and title. It doesn't read right. Maybe something like "15 Essential On-Site SEO Tweaks" or "15 Little Known Essential SEO Tips" or something a little catchy.

    2. I would spice up my bullet point a bit. Maybe (off the top of my head):
    - Change out the word "Learn." Most people don't want to "Learn" but they might want to "Discover" or "Uncover" or hear a "Secret" that is "Revealed"-know what I mean?

    3. I would try to get your opt-in above the fold. A lot of people won't even scroll down to see the opt-in, so you may miss out on some subscribers.

Above all, keep it simple. The easier you can make it for people, the more likely they will sign up.

Here is an example of a simple one I did that is working fairly well right now:

h ttp://www .imspeed.com/nicheblueprint/ (had to put spaces because I lost my account info and can't post links yet!)

Hope this helps - above all, keep tweaking and working at it, you're doing great!

Here's some simple tweaks for you:

Consider switching the color scheme to red.

Make it clear straightaway that you're going to give them a free guide.

'The 15' works better than 'Top 15'

Don't use 'learn' no one wants to learn.

You're telling me the features of your freebie but not the benefits.

Replace the submit button with a 'Free Instant Access' button.

    I like it.

It is simple and easy to grasp. No distractions.

However I think you could use a stronger headline.

Also what about branding it. I struggle with whether to use up the precious header space with a logo or not.

Also what about links. Some gurus suggest deep linking from the home page so as to retain interest and reduce the bounce rate.

I changed almost all of it... I just double checked and the new version IS showing up for me. I changed the color scheme to red, took out a bunch of stuff, swapped out the "What you will learn" bullets for "what it will do for you" stuff instead, and just simplified / cleaned everything up as much as possible.
