put email opt in box on wp sidebar

INTERNET MARKETING

what is the best way to do this?

because you want it @ the head of the sidebar you coundnt use the test box, not with my theme anyways.

does anybody have a code template for this?

i also want to include pics of bonus?

thoughts?

Why not? I always can put anything exactly where I want in any WP theme.

You can drag even a text widget in any place in the sidebar...

  my theme has one of those custom sidebars, with the fancy recent posts,tags & all that good stuff in the theme widget. thats at the top of the sidebar.

  OK, you don't know me (yet) but I am "anal" about precise description of a problem! This is my nice way to say what you wrote doesn't make sense
  
  In a properly widgetized sidebar there are menu items that should disappear in the moment when you drag ONE widget into the sidebar.
  
  If this doesn't happen - it means only half of your sidebar is properly coded to use widgets. Complain to the author.
  
  Or, just open the sidebar.php file on your computer, rewrite it, edit it, make it useful for yourself... and then upload it to your server. If that doesn't work - get another theme.

  I have never seen a theme you could not move the widgets around in the side bar.
  
  Try dragging and dropping the text widget where you want it. Get the code for yur opt in and put it in the box. Add the code for your pic.
  
  You can create the code for your for your pic by uploading the pic to a post. Then click the html code button. Copy and paste the code in your side bar text widget.
  
  If you can not control your side bar....get a new theme.

yeah i dont know how to describe it except it is a custom sidebar widget that categorizes all post.

i guess ill have to go into the sidebar.php & play around a little

That is the problem, you do not know how to describe it properly---

Ok--- When you figure out that the WIDGETS can be moved in the sidebar, then you will realize that the email opt in box from Aweber will fit just fine! RELAX, this is how everyone has to do it---LOL

  yeah i used to have the code but i seemed to misplace it.
  
  but i think it comes out better when u edit the sidebar,php instead of using text widget
