Try doing some article marketing. It's not too expensive. What do you mean paid facebook and twitter marketing? Are you doing pay per click, or paying someone to post on their page?

    Hi

I have found Joint Venture Giveaways to be really great way for getting sign up's especially if you are just starting out.

Ideally you could do with at least 2 or 3 products to contribute and I would also highly recommend you upgrade aswell (this will cost anything from $7 - $10)

I have a few that I have joined recently and not without sounding over promotional , you can join in up with these here:

Hope this helps. If you need anything else, PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as.

James, how many subscribers does a typical giveaway bring in? Also do you know of anyone that will manage the whole process, (i like to outsource as much as possible )

I would strongly suggest that you change niches and learn about IM before you try to sell IM products.

It's not reallly surprising that your blog comments and forum signatures don't drive traffic. It must be obvious to their readers that you are not an experiences IMer and (to be blunt) don't know anything about IM.

Read around this forum and try article marketing or some other form of affiliate marketing.

Learn about landing pages, squeeze pages, review pages, list building, affiliate marketing, cpa, cpc, adsense, adwords, bookmarking, blogging, etc before pretending that you are qualified to sell IM products.

Instead of focusing on everything, try 1-3 traffic sources, and master them.

Such as article, forum, yahoo marketing.......
Whatever fits your time and resources. Then when you start bring
in the cashola begin outsourcing and adding a new traffic source.

          Then rinse and repeat!

        Hi

Whenever I upgrade, I'm bringing in about 20 - 30 subscribers in each event.

Usually I'm in at least 4 or 5 events each month so although not massive amounts, for the newbie list builder it's a good place to start.

After that, you can start looking at ad swapping, thank you emails etc, etc.

Of course you don't have to upgrade with Giveaway Events but for the cost I think it's well worth it as your gifts get more exposure - hence more sign ups. It generally depends on the event itself.

I do all of the work myself but there really isn't a great deal to do to be fair. Once you have done it once, just save the details in a notepad document and then you can just cut and paste for other events.

Hope this helps. I have just updated my page with more events.

Feel free to have a look about and if you need more help, just PM me.

Try adwords, yahoo search marketing and MSN adcenter.

PPC is still the fastest and best way to get loads of traffic for a testrun.

Try to offer free report that could help fellow warriors here in the WSO section.
If will cost you only $20.

You helped your potential clients and pay $20 for posting, in return you'll get their
email addresses but again..be sure that your free report is very helpful.

Use the adswap method, JV giveaways, software for twitter and facebook, etc.
There are so many ways..just be creative, have a unique and useful free offer.

    Hey Jazbo
I understand the irony of what I am doing but I set up the site as a test to see if I could get traffic.
So far I am happy with my sign up rate about 1 in 3 but I am just not getting the traffic

    Espresso,

If I were going to jump into teaching people internet marketing, before I was an experienced internet marketer..... I'd join the War Room and start reading everything I can get my hands on about list building, I'd grab Bryan Kumar's report on his attempt to make $50,000 in 30 days at the end of last year, and I'd start following every IM Guru (big-time Guru) I could find on Twitter.

(Hint: I am not following those Guru's to learn from them, there is something else I want.)
