How to add a bonus if vendor doesn't?

Hi!

I'm planning to offer a free bonus for customers that buy a product from my website (a clickbank product). The problem, is that the vendor that owns the product just offers the product without any other bonus.

Is there any way to download the bonus from my website at the same time that the product is bought in clickbank?

Thanks in advance!

I am thinking you would have to have some sort of redirect from the vendor to get them back to a bonus download page.

You could have them email you their receipt and you send the bonus?

OR, how about this...Let them know about the bonus on your page, but to get the bonus they have to submit their email and name. Then, once they subscribe, put the bonus in the autoresponder?

You may get some people who subscribe who didn't purchase, but my guess is it would be minimal, and you could build a list at the same time?

    Just some ideas

I'm not sure if a redirect from the vendor can be placed... i'll ask him about that.

Sending a direct email with the download is always possible, but something automated will be more professional.

The subscription is a good idea, good way for offering it & built a list.

      Thanks for the ideas

You can offer your bonus through your page and tell them that after they purchase the product to send an email to yourbonus@yourdomain.com with the first or last four digits of the order number.

Even though you are not getting a number that you can check to determine if they did buy or not, you are making it more difficult for those that would try to get your bonus without buying.

Do not ask them for the entire order number or any sensitive information that you would be responsible for. You want to eliminate any complaints that you used their order number in any way.

Have your bonus email an autoresponder that sends them the bonus download link.

You don't even need an autoresponder account because most of the hosting companies have an autoresponder email that you can setup with the hosting.

thats the solution to all such bonus offer problems, you can either offer your own bonuses or use the ones in the library
