Noob Yahoo Answers question

I created a yahoo profile. In filling out the profile it asked a lot of questions. What it didn't ask was my website URL.

Everyone says Yahoo Answers is loved by Google. How do I get my website to be associated with my account.

I know, its pretty pathetic. But I really don't know how. Can I just put the URL in any of the slots on the profile.

    What I know is while you answering the questions related to your niche, you just put your url as reference url.

    Basically you have to create a Yahoo account first. Once you have that, you can then find questions related to your niche and drop your url. There's a great post on my blog that goes into more detail about this

    You are not missing anything. Do a search for your profile and see if it's even indexed.

    The "method" is to post to relevant questions with a relevant answer that includes a link to your property.

    Do it wrong and they will ban you. Do it right and you get traffic.

    Doing it wrong = spam
    Doint it right = participation which ads value

    Exactly what InternetMarketingIQ said above - just make sure your answers are informative, and try to answer other questions without links too to add value to the site.

    Also, when you're a new member they won't make your links active until you move up a level. You earn points for answering questions and being chosen as best answer, so it does pay off to give genuinely helpful answers.
