Which affiliate generating method works best...

Hey Warriors

I'm trying to put a letter (email) together to send out to entice other to join my affiliate program and am looking for some ideas or suggestions.

I've been hearing two different approaches and needed you guys to lend me your opinion as to which method has worked better.

I've read that the email should be similar to a sales letter in that it should throw benefit after benefit at the prospect as to how they'll be better off if they promote.

The other was to be as factual as possible.

Any thoughts will be a big help

Scott

ive never done a sales email before but I would assume throw in facts that are beneficial. Best of both

I would have to agree with Blue...but I lean more toward how anything would benefit me because everyone wants to know what is in it for them.
      I hope this helps.

        Thanks for the answers warriors.

The salesletter approach made the most sense to me too. (I am trying to sell them on being an affiliate).

This is a Clickbank product (I forgot to mention) so the explanation of the affiliate program can be fairly simple.

If anyone knows of an example that has worked, I'd love to hear about it.

as an affiliate what I would like to see is the product that sell. I don't care if the product only give me a $5 commission per sale as long as the product has a good converting ratio.

If you have a web design and sales letter that sell plus easy way to withdraw affiliate commission, I bet many would love to join your affiliate program

If you already have the eBook - in the case of promoting somebody else' product - then your sales letter - following an autoresponder sequence, should be a break down of all the points contained the eBook that you want to promote as "benefits". Break those down into several sales letters.
