Many people ask about what are the most common or most widely used blogging themes, and I think this is a great question.

So this is why I have decided to ask you Warriors, what are your favorite blogging themes?

I am talking about themes that you would use to start a blog on Wordpress, please share you favorite themes below, thank you in advance

    I love inove (free) and I use "Fresh News" by woo themes a lot (costs some)

      Thank you for your post, I am actually looking for a decent blogging theme. I want to start something like a news/personal blog that will be updated regularly and I am stuck, I have no idea what theme to use - any suggestions anyone?

      The goal of the blog will be to create a following as well as promote some products, should I use a 2 column or 3 or what, I am just a little stuck and unsure at the moment

    I feel 'ya. I like the two column clean themes like the two I mentioned. Best if you go find a blog that looks like what you want to do and then you can ask here what theme they're using

    You can start by going through some blogs that are on the same topic as yours and see which ones have a lot of comments... of course, it's the content that will drive the response, but at least you know those people are having no problem getting the message via the blog's layout/theme.

      I really like the "Atahualpa" theme and tend to recommend that one a lot. There is a lot you can customize on it.

    For what you're describing, I'd suggest you take a look at this site: Theme Gallery | Elegant Themes

    They do a lot of nice themes. Not so good for sales/marketing, but good for personal blogs and business sites.

    Oscar, I should also mention that in my experience 90%+ of all clicks happen on top fold 'offers'/'calls to action', and within the blog posts themselves. It's a common mistake to "Stuff" too much content in the sidebars, where very few clicks occur and all the added 'noise' takes away from the message of your content... for that reason, I tend to stay away from 3/4 column themes.

            Sure, but please don't send me a story - simply state what you've done, & what you want to do.

            I've received so many 'I need to make money now, lost my x, y, and z' stories that I've become completely desensitized. I'd rather get down to the current issue/problem at hand related to what's been done so far.

    I like Woo themes. I have a developer license for quite a few Woo as well as others and the Woo are the most versatile for me.
