What's wrong with EZA today? So many low counts get in the "Most Viewed"...

Hi,

The title pretty much sums up what I'm going to ask.

Just checking how's my articles doing on EZA and
found out that #1 Most Viewed in the most saturated
categories only has 200-300's views. And the oldest
article there is not from 60 days back but about 4-5
days ago.

What gives? Your insights are most welcomed.

    Just had a look myself... you're right.

    Maybe they've copped on to the widespread manipulation of that section of their site and simply slapped everyone that was there out of it?

    I expect they'll shortly be inundated with complaints from "outraged" article manipulators...eh, writers!

    I think you now have to have 400 words in your article to get into the most viewed section. That is probably why there are so many low view articles showing as a lot of people are not writing 400 word articles.

    Interesting. Let's see how this plays out.I do not think EZA required 400 word articles before but I may be wrong.

    Bots are being filtered out, and NEW content is being filtered in. They talk about it in their blog. Word count has nothing to do with the views either. They are now carefully screening which articles get put into those sections, as there was a lot of "sneaky" behavior going on before.

    They've just recently announced that they were changin the reporting for views to reflect 'real people" views and not "bot views". That section is probably reflecting that now. I guess they have to "start over" somewhere.

    I agree that this is going to be a good change. I don't think that EZA would make a change like this if it wasn't for the better. That's my insight at least.

    Why don't you talk to the company directly, EZA is not like other article directories that don't respond to mail.
