Just how far would you take an article?

I have access to UAW, AMA, AB (another article distribution network), MagicArticleSubmiter, and FTS.

How far would you take your typical article that's completely spun 3 times as well as moderate word spinning. Total uniqueness about 40% give or take 3% from dupecop - how many distribution networks would you put each article through?

I'm thinking UAW and AMA. Or possibly UAW, AMA and FTS. Would you guys even both with the article directly submitters? Or how far would you take it?

This is for SEO in a fairly competitive niche.

I am not a big fan of spinning articles but I take my articles real far. I rewrite each of my articles about 10 times (without a spinner) and then I submit them to different directories and then I convert them videos and audios and power point presentations etc to make the most out of them.

EDIT: Hey maybe you're thinking that I'm weird when I do too much to just one article but I do get alot of traffic from doing those extra steps

Most of my articles end up in 3 different places

I send my original article to ezine articles, then I make a video of my article and send it to you tube. Finally i make a presentation in open office impress and send it to Scribd.

Then i backlink the hell out of all three and rank highly in Google for each of them.

I do an awful lot to my articles as well. Once they are submitted to the main directory I then submit them to other directories, then backlink, ping, bookmark, rss, blog comment forum post everything I can do to get links to the article. It is a lot of work but it sure does pay off in the end,

I think it's best to do the articles in a natural way. I saw articles spun 50 times, look awful...

I don't spin articles. The only original article I have is the main article I am trying to promote. The other article directories get the same article as I only use them for backlinks they never really send any decent traffic. I use these directories to promote my main article. Then backlink, backlink, backlink until the article gets the listings you need.

I think you should distribute them to as many places as you can but I'm also all for testing and seeing where you are getting the most bang for the buck.

Submitting to all those places takes time, right? So if you are getting something out of it then it is worthwhile.

I personally haven't found those distribution nets like UAW and AMA to be worthwhile but you have to test in order to know that I guess.

Well, I don't really care about the time it takes to submit them - it's all outsourced. The writting, spinning, and submitting are outsourced so I'm just trying to figure out what kind of spread I take with the articles. The only network that isn't a concern is Linkvana. I have a seperate writter and submitter just for linkvana posts.

My big debate at the moment is should I have 3 writers submitting all of their articles to all of the networks, or 1 writer each submitting to 1 network so that each network has it's own articles and it's own writers.

As far as backlinking to the articles, I do that. I'll ping, social bookmark and blog about the article URLs that I harvest daily from each network (except AMA of course). I pay others to do the writting and submitting and then I do the building to make sure google finds them.

[edit in: I submit blog posts to the urls on my own private network of high PR blogs, not through submission services.]

A little trial and error is the way to go on this one it seems. Please by all means, if others have input please share And thanks to everyone who has contributed all ready.

I would go as far as you want. The Google police do not exist. Just make sure you are buffering your money site.

Yeah, then I agree if it's all outsourced and not costing you an arm and a leg then go for it!
