Why do backlins take so long?

Hello everyone, I am new here. So, first things first... Hello

I have a brand new site that I am trying to get ranked and have been building backlinks, but why do they take so long to show up?

    Cheryl. Go to this site BACKLINKS - HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE. They have a good explanation and article on why backlinks take so long? I believe you will get value from reading the article. Hope this helps.

    create an rss feed of all the pages that your backlinks are on using a service like feedity, icerocket, yahoo pipes, etc..

    then take that feed a submit it to the top rss aggregators

    social bookmark it on the top sb sites

    ping the feed

    and your backlinks will start getting indexed much quicker

    on top of that you will get a few new backlinks in the process

    Try this. Write an article and post it on Blogger.com then link your offer/website in the blogger article. Then do a google search for: "wp-signup.php" (multi-user blogs) type a keyword phrase in conjuction with this file name you'll find multi-user blogs in your niche, but they do not need to be in your niche. Post variations of your blogger article on each of these multi-user blogs (they cannot be the same content). You will get TONS of traffic.

      There are a couple of programs in the wso section that can help. Backlink Booster and Backlink Index Express. I have used both and they do help. I personally like BIE better as it is more automated and takes up less of my time so I can bookmark over 1400 baklinks a day with it. If you do not have very many backlinks BB may work just fine for you though.
