CouponKim.com -- How Do You Recommend I Grow This Site?

Hey guys, I'm working on a site, CouponKim.com and we're looking to help the client hit it out of the park on the marketing front.

From looking at the site, what do you suggest we do to ramp up traffic big time? We're looking to help them build traffic that is quality, so popunder, pay to click, etc. isn't what we're looking for.

We're growing things on the SEO side, but are looking for some advice as far as possible Stumbleupon opportunities, videos, etc.

So for those of you who are expert marketers, give me your best pitch, so that I can buy your services and start killing it with traffic for this site.

    Here's a couple of ideas for you to chew on...

    1. Seek out the blogs and other sites dedicated to "frugal" living. Offer them content, such as articles and case studies about using coupons.

    2. Since the site is building a list, look into trading thank-you page offers with other coupon sites, freebie sites, sweepstakes blogs, etc.

    3. Do video case studies for YouTube. Show some tips for maxing out coupons, a pile of products and a receipt showing before and after totals, especially if you can get some sick ratio. (My wife has come out of a store with over $100 in groceries and change from a $20.)

    In a nutshell, look for fusion opportunities.

    thanks for the tips, can you give me an example of the thank-you page trades?

    do you mean just put ads for the other sites on the thank you page or is there a better way to do this?

      The better way would be to come up with an incentive to opt-in to your list. It might be the same as the one on the site, but if you can come up with something exclusive for each partner, it's even better.

      That way, rather than simply putting an ad on the other person's page, you can offer an extra bonus. The other site owner would put your opt-in form and bonus offer on his page, either the thank-you page or confirmation page.

      If there is resistance, and there might be, simply offer the bonus report and put a strong call to action in favor of opting into your list.

      Some will allow this one way, in other words your ad is on their page and their payback is the extra freebie. More often, they'll want you to put their offer on your thank-you or confirmation page. If the offer is good, it's a fair deal. Folks in this particular niche are not shy about being on multiple lists, if my wife is any example.
