Hijacked! I didnt new somebody could do that with my ad :-(

Hi y'all

I feel bad about a few minutes ago. I didnt knew that some people could hijack our ads and do that just for fun when we are actually promoting products to earn a living.

This is about an ad I placed (keyworded properly to have a first page google rank in search of about 8m)

When I checked for the ad earlier I found a page in the same ad site carrying my entire title and some of my wordings. While my ad is missing.

I went to the site and there was literally nothing in it. It wasnt even promoting a Get paid to program.

It was really a waste. They hijacked my ad and did nothing..maybe just enjoyed a good laugh out of it.

As a warrior I'm affected but I know that I'll still be able to write ads which will have a high search engine ranking..I just feel sorry for the wasted search engine ranking..which have gone down already since the hijackers didnt placed any valuable contents...

Do you mean you had an AdWords ad that was hijacked?

When you say hijack, do you mean they just copied the text of your ad, or something else?

It was an ad placed in a free ad site.

In the free ad site we are allowed to place a single page ad.

If the user prefers they can also make a website in the free ad site.

The free ad site has I think a google PR 3 or PR 4 I havent veried yet since I dont have a google toolbar in this PC

    This is exactly what happened.

about three days ago I wrote an ad. I placed in the page nice keywords. It had a high google rank as already mentioned.

Today when I checked out the ad in google. My ad no longer in the result, instead I found a similar (very similar even the wordings) ad pointing to a free webpage on the same free ad site I placed my ad into. When I clicked, it did went into the free ad site but the page has nothing on it.

I already reported the matter to the free ad site since they've included a report button. In the reasons for reporting I found that they've included a "Ad Hijacking" option. So I thought that maybe they've already experienced a similar event before..

Anyway Im over it now, I also made several ads and hope to get the same ranking I had before...Thanks for asking ppl!

I have had that happen with free ads before. Craigslist was notorious for that. Post a great title and ad and within 1 hour someone else used it and flagged my ad off. Very cheesy.

Why waste time writing ads when they can just steal everyone elses...
