70% click through rate but no sales??

Hey guys,

I'm having some trouble converting and I'm not sure why. I'm promoting a product about farmville, and I have a wordpress blog set up

I cant post links yet but you get the idea...
hxxp://secretfarmvilletactics(dot)wordpress.com/

I consider this a nice looking blog, and I've put up some free information on there as well. I've had about 90 visitors to my blog, and 65 of those visitors have clicked through to the farmville clickbank landing page, and no sales. crappy conversion rate or just keep trying until i get to 100 visits on my clickbank page?

any tips or advice to make my blog a little better would be appreciate too! thanks!

First off change the default WP tagline thats in your header, try and do some long tail keyword work with that tagline as well as the url destinations.

And I would seriously change your theme, better yet, snatch up a top-level domain for some chump change of $9-10 at namecheap.com,
(make sure you use keywords in choosing your domain name also )

YOu can find some great looking wp themes for free just by googling "free premium wp themes" and many other varients of that search term, until you find a nice clean one that screams "FARMVILLE" as soon as visitors land on your site. I always believe that your site design is a very important factor in customer/lead qualification.

Honestly, your site looks like you're about to sell me an IPOD.

I found the conversion rates on most of the Farmville products to be pretty small too...maybe it was just me.

Don't get despondent about 65 visits and no conversions, I found 1% to be about as good as it got.

Remember to take into consideration what Alexa said above, you cannot accurately track conversions with only a handful of unique visitors; Make sure that you track returning visitors as well so you know whether or not your content is helping you to develop a sort of 'community' around [YOUR NAME] and specifically the information that [YOUR NAME] has to offer. A large percentage of your online income will come from repeat customers and visitors/subscribers that actively listen to you and peruse your website(s). Keep a close eye on your log stats

    First of all,

your blog has been terminated and shut down by wordpress.

Here's what I got when I got to the page:

This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.
Second of all, it depends on your traffic. Most of the people who play farmville won't spend money on any guides and I have a living example at my house.

My brother is a farmville addict and plays it for atleast 4 hours a day and is on level 50. He knows about the guide from a long time now (I tried to sell it to him thru my aff link ) and he won't buy it.

So I would say that working in the Farmville niche you shouldn't be surprised by such low conversions because people are not in a buying mood. Also 65 people mean nothing you need more traffic to find out what is your conversion rate.

Great job on changing your stance.

I hope you know that most of the free services will destroy your business (I remember that your blog got removed from blogger)

When I type farmville into google in my browser only one ad shows up in the adwords column and it is an ad for hotels in farmville, virginia.

Low number of google ads on the main keyword usually means low conversions.

Also, my step mother plays that game. If the typical player is like her you can forget it, she is not the buying type. The game doesn't seem that competitive that they would want to pay to play. My step mother plays it to socialize with her friends.

Maybe you will find a way to make it work who knows, but I would look into your next project while you continue testing this one.
