Can i redirect a wordpress page to my another sites main page

I have an domain name hosted on hostgator and initially i set up a wordpress blog. I later decided to do this site as a static html page. The problem i have is that i submitted a new sitemap to google after i had uploaded my html page but in the search engines when I type in my keyword i get my site listed twice. The first one just gives the title of my site but no description, but it is the second one that is causing me a problem. Although it shows both the title and description that i require the address reads

streetfightinguncaged.net/about/

When i click on the link it takes me to an empty wordpress blog with just my site title in the heading. Can anybody shed some light on what i might have done wrong, or is their any way i can redirect this address to my main site.

Hope the above makes sense

Regards

Kim

It looks like that you have your about page set as your blog. You can change it in your wordpress admin area by clicking "Reading" under "Settings". Then in the "Posts Page" dropdown box, either select the page that you want for your blog, or don't select anything (top) to not have a blog.

Your about page should then just be blank, and you can then delete it, or modify it with your info under "Pages", "Edit".

When Google re-indexes your site again, you shouldn't have the double listing to the about page for the same keywords anymore.

Thanks for that I have just deleted the about me page and that has disappeared from Google search now. Any idea why the site description might not be showing up on my main domain.

If you just added the description into the meta tags recently, it may take Google a week or two to update it.

I do see in your meta tag description you end it with "click here >>". That is likely causing an error as the > closes the meta tag before the "> at the end. Get rid of the 2 >> at the end of your description.

The actual source code is from the main sales page for the product, I have just done a 100% iframe on my site as i want to test to see if the sales page converts.

Ah, then my answer is because your page doesn't have any content or meta description tag for the search engine to find.
