Best Time To Bump the WSO

I know WSO bumps are done manually but the mods do it pretty quickly so you have some control over the decision.

With that said, it's worth asking: what have you guys found to be the best time of day to bump your WSO here on the old Warrior Forum?

Emails apparently are read most before work and at lunchtime. Does the same apply here?

I should probably delete this thread once we get an answer or we'll everyone bumping at the same time...but let's see what happens.

I bump mine as soon as it gets on page 3.. I may wait a little bit though but still when on page 3 if it has done what I wanted then I will bump it..

If it has not done what I wanted then I forget about it and go on and create something else..

    • I've found that it's really hit or miss.

Because the bumping is done manually there is no telling when the WSO will actually bumped back to the top of the page.

Sometimes it takes a couple of hours and sometimes it takes 20 or 30 hours....unless something has changed recently that I'm not aware of.

Until the bumps are automated, I think the best thing to do is just start a new WSO each time you want to "bump".

This is the only way to get the WSO listed exactly when you want. With that said, I like Sunday night.

You have to wait until your WSO falls off the 2nd page before relisting.....other than that, you should be good to go.

Last night I bumped a WSO around 7pm and nothing happened until after 1AM. Then I got 3 sales all within 15 minutes of each other. So based on that, I would say late sunday evening or early monday morning.

I remember once I bumped a WSO when there was like 1600 people on the WSO forum. Guess what? My thread didn't last a day on the first page.

I get a lot of sales during the night because my product seems to appeal to overseas customers. A lot of things will affect how your WSO will perform.

If I were to give you one piece of advice, it would be to wait long enough so that fresh eyes get to see your thread. If you bump it too soon, regulars will ignore it. Just my two cents.

Question: When is the best time to bump an old thread?

    Answer: 28 months later, apparently.

ok, well I will answer for you correctly.

Wait for the full moon. At 4am when the bars close in NYC, everyone goes home, and goes on spending sprees on the internet.

So, you need to bump between 4:15 and 4:20 Eastern AM after the full moon.

I guess all those silly "experts" don't know what they're talking about. I say that because no matter how many times this question is asked, nobody ever responds with the answer of, "try some split testing and see what works best for you."

    Jus sayin

I'm flabbergasted as to how a thread well over 2 years old just got bumped like that, Michelle must have definitely done some digging to resurrect this thread!
