  • CPA is much better than Clickbank in IMHO. It is much easier to sell solutions than it is to sell information on how to get solutions.

Plus with CPA, you have different types of things to sell. Zip submits, trial memberships to dating sites, wieght loss pills, car insurance, mobile phone games...the list goes on.

Conversions are tricky to address. Of course, a free zip submit will convert better than a $77 ebook. However, you make a lot less (usually less than $2 per submit). So, you need to look at EPC's instead of conversions.

If you can figure out the different places like Facebook and Plent Of Fish, you can make tons of money with CPA offers. It just takes testing and thinking outside the box.

CPA marketing is Affiliate marketing. CPA marketing is just a different type of offer. Most of them are some sort of lead gen where you enter a zip code, email, address, or signup for a trial. In most cases CPA offers don't require the user to pull out a credit card. The difference between ClickBank and CPA networks is that ClickBank is predominately informational products (eBooks) that require the user to pull out their credit card. Informational products can be hard to sell and that's why your typical conversion rate for ClickBank offers is 1%. ClickBank is a lot easier to get approved than CPA networks too. That being said there are plenty of affiliates that make bank promoting ClickBank offers, they trick is learning how to promote them. Once you're approved to a CPA network there are tons of offers that you can promote and if you stick with the lead gen type offers you will typically see much higher conversion rates. It's no big deal to have offers converting at 50%+.

So it really comes down to how you want to spend your time. Do you want to promote CPA offers or informational productions? For me, I've been pushing CPA offers for many years and that's what I know best. I make a 5 figure a month income pushing these type offers and that's what I suggest learning.

Here's a mini guide to converting cpa offers:

    1. Find a good cpa offer to promote. Maybe you can ask your affiliate manager

    2. Find an internet marketing method to promote your cpa offer. I like email marketing, search engine marketing and paid advertising. (do yourself a favor by striving to build a list with every offer you promote)

    3. Build a website around your cpa offer. Then drive traffic to it using your preferred internet marketing method. Make sure to be a fanatical tester. Testing is the only way you can find out what works and what doesn't work. The only way to improve your ROI.

    Hope that helps

The thing i like most about CPA offers is that the merchants are constantly testing their landing pages. That means better results for you. The majority of affiliates offers I promote come from CPA offers. But I'll work with clickbank and amazon products if they're hot.
