It has been my experience that people looking to start their own business or earn some more money tend to come out on holidays especially. I can remember getting some excellent sales on Christmas for example.
I suppose on holidays there is often more off time to research on the internet, and many stores are closed too. I can remember one year after opening presents at Christmas, I went up to the computer and started surfing, and that sort of led to me starting my own business (this was before I had broadband at home).
Have you noticed that new people tend to show up on Holiday weekends?
