Affiliate Theme for Wordpress

Hello my fellow Internet Marketers.

Question. Has anyone used the "Affiliate Theme" found here: (can't post url, just google 'affiliate theme'

Looks pretty promising but I'm still a bit of a newbie and would like to see a good example of what this theme can do. If anyone would be nice enough to share please post below.

Thanks in advance.

ask yourself first what kind of blog or website do I want to build?

once you've answered that, then you can worry about what wordpress theme is going to give you the best results.

paying for a premium theme isn't a bad choice but you can often find a free alternative that does exactly what you need without the bells n' whistles.

I'm not familiar with Affiliate Theme, but I do use Thesis, and it's awesome. They may be somewhat similar, I'm thinking, but I can't say for sure. Thesis is a little less pricey for the individual license.

I agree with Jason that it's good to look around and see if you can find something free that meets your needs, but it also kind of depends on your abilities as far as the behind-the-scenes coding goes, too. If mucking around in the HTML and CSS doesn't intimidate you, great, but if you'd rather have a root canal than deal with web site coding, something like Thesis will make your life much easier.

I wrote an article about it on my blog that might give you a little more info: The WordPress Thesis theme: is it worth the money?

The price of the theme seems a bit stiff for me. For the price of the super affiliate package we already provide lifetime access, including updates and upgrades, to our Affiloblueprint course, with which you get not only a step-by-step guide but also a free wordpress theme that you can use to build your affiliate sites.

Personally I thinks it's great, I've been using it since it came out and it's a great timesaver - it may be just what you need especially if you are new to IM

I think there are many themes that cost much less that do a lot more. There are free themes I'd choose above the affiliate theme. I'm not sure how the affiliate themes's price can be justified.

I am using Atahualpa Theme to create custom themes for WP, as a matter of fact I am going to be offering custom templates like that to Warriors soon.

I plan on making a whole bunch of them now and then probably I will do monthly update ie. one or two new themes per month and offer them in the warriors for hire section at affordable prices. I really like this approach and I believe Thesis has the same thing going, though I think there is a one time fee associated with it.

I went with Artisteer. It is a program that allows you full control over creating themes for Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal and even just plain HTML/CSS themes. There is no coding involved just selecting options from a menu.

Yeah Just checked out Aristeer. Looks super simple and really nice.

Much cheaper too. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thesis btw looks pretty good too.
