Advice needed for Local Search Niche Content Creation

Hi,

I was wondering how you can write content for niche sites, especially where you have no knowledge and they are Area/Local Specific.

Say for instance I wanted to build a site about "New York State Coffee Shops", I could get some PLR perhaps about Coffee, but how could I build a site which would rank for "New York State Coffee Shops"specifically?

Hope this makes some sort of sense!

    I would say that you either need to be local, have knowledge about the reading (e.g. used to live there) or hire someone local.

    This seems like something you might be able to fake, but a local would know you're faking...

      If it's in New York - you could EASILY hire somebody off Craigslist who has a fascination for the topic you're writing about. Then you've got the local issue solved.
