Auto-responder help! How do I adjust the width of my emails? (not even AWeber can help me)

Here's the thing. I'm always getting emails that have a small, fixed column width from other marketers (you know, they look like a newspaper). Here's what I know:

- that some of them are using AWeber
- that they are sending html messages (because there's anchor text hyperlinks)
- AWeber doesn't know how to do this

So can someone here please help me? I don't like that my emails are spread out across the message. And I need to send html messages else AWeber's stats mess up completely. So I'd rather they be easier to read like other marketers' emails. Thank you!

    Just hit the
    return button
    every so often
    and you are
    all set.

    P.S. I hate
    receiving emails
    that are super
    skinny like this.
    It is really annoying.

      haha... it's that simple, huh?

Would you rather an email that stretches the whole window?

If you look at Aweber's site, when you enter in your message, it has a link
you can click that says "wrap text" or something like that.

If you click that link on your message, it will format your message so that
it doesn't go end to end.

Don't people actually read what they can do with their autoresponder?

And how can Aweber not help you with this?

It's a basic part of the system.:confused::confused:

Steve, yes, I do read what I can do with my autoresponder. In fact, my post was quite clear about the fact that this has to do with html emails. If you take a look at your AWeber account, you'll realize that the "wrap long lines" option is only for plain text emails.

I'm not a tech dummy and I'm not lazy. I just have a hard time believing that all those email marketers out there are hitting return on every line to modify the width... but maybe that's the case.

Sorry, missed the HTML part of your post.

              Simple solution.

Compose your message in a WYSIWYG editor and format it there.

Then copy the HTML into your Aweber form.

              Done.

That way, it will be exactly the way you want it.

yup just hit enter a few times and your good to go. With all honesty most of my emails I send out the text per line is only about 10 words at max until I go to the next line. It just looks alot cleaner that way.

Emails that stretch the whole window kind of make me not want to read them.

But as a side note at the bottom of your email press enter about 20 times and put a . period or full stop at the end of it so your unsubscribe link is further down on the email. Its a good tactic to get into.
