I am looking to do some phone interviews. I'm wondering what other warriors have used to record phone interviews.

I understand skype can record, but I have never tried it.

I want a service that is easy for the one being interviewed and still has a really good record quality.

So, what choices do you recommend that I try?

Thanks

Keith

Most phone recording sounds pretty tinny and thats why lots of us use skype because it sounds more like they are sitting in the room with us.

Of course the person you interview does not have to have skype as you can buy calling credit and ring their phone direct for just cents in the dollar compared to ringing them on a normal phone. If they do have skype then its free so why not introduce them to it.

So free Skype and a free recorder and and you can make professional sound recordings.

    I agree with Quentin.
Another thing about Skype is that you can buy unlimited calling plans. So if you will be doing a number of interviews with people who do not have or do not want to use skype, you can choose a plan that covers the geographical locations of the people you will be talking to. That way you will be paying only for the plan itself and there will be no per minute charges.
