How to make 1500GBP in 3-6 months?

I have seen I bike which I really like, but it's £1500. It's the reason I decided to try IM again, it's my motivation to work on my blog even when I don't feel like it.

I have got in a niche with practically no competition, which I know a lot about. I have set up a blog which I post the first half of my articles (unique, written myself), then link back to my ezinearticles, those articles link back to my blog, as well as other articles on other directories.

I have added my blog to a few social bookmarking sites, but I really need to submit it to more.
I'm planning to continue to write articles, post them on my blog and on article directories, but the progress is quite slow.

My blog is indexed by google, but doesn't show up at all for the keyword phrase I'm wanting to rank for.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong or could do better?

I know the perl programming language quite well, as well as VB6 and photoshop. I can also write articles of a reasonable length in about 45 minutes. Is there any way to make money from those skills?
I know there is a warriors for hire part of the forum, but you have to pay to get a listing there.

Are there any other ways I could earn £1500 within 3-6 months (or longer if necessary), using the internet?

Any input would be gratefully received

Well, without a link to your site (which you could put in your signature) there is no way to see what you are doing right or wrong.

As for guaranteed cash that can start rolling in quickly, you should consider offering a service.

Again, if you can not afford to post a listing there immediately, you could put a little something in your signature to a site that you own that is a listing of services you'd like to offer.

Well one thing I'm seeing (if I read it right) is that you're linking from your blog to ezinearticles. Once you've got them on your site, don't send them there... that's a revenue bleeder right there since ezinearticles doesn't do any kind of revenue sharing.

As avenuegirl said, selling a service can be a great sure, money maker. Yes, you do have to pay to post an ad on WF - as any business owner will tell you, frequently you do have to spend money to make money.

I think you should not link your articles from your blog to EZ. Instead write your articles and submit on EZ and link them to your blog. Your blog should have content that is unique from your submitted articles.

WF WSO section has many offers for articles... some as low as $2 per article. You may wish to contact some of them.
