I need help with a Wordpress plugin...please

I found a nice plugin that allows you to embed 'posts' into 'pages' which is exactly what I need for a review site I'm working on. The plugin is called Inline Posts and can be found here http://aralbalkan.com/1016 (no affiliate).

There's very little documentation and it should be drop dead easy to implement but I can't get it to insert more than one post/page. Obviously I'm missing something because it's useless if you can only add one post to a page, it's functionality is in adding multiple posts.

Is anyone familiar with this plugin or have the time to test it? I've tried it on two separate installs of WP 2.6.1 with different themes. I can get it to do one post to a page, but when I add text or a second post, it doesn't show up.

This guy is a Flash guru so could it be related to the version of flash I have?

I'd really appreciate the help if anybody could look at this. That's what I get for having a concept that really isn't supported yet!

There is a review plugin you can get for wordpress that is $99. I havent heard of this one that you are talking about, but I would check their versions of it and email the maker. If you still get no answers did you try the wordpress support forums? Sorry I cant help more I have the review site plugin to use. Good luck.

I couldn't find any contact info for the author and there's no mention of it at the WP forums. Just thought I'd take a chance someone here could help.

Mary, I have a review plugin and even tested this one with and without it on separate sites, with no luck.

    Nevermind...

The inline posts plugin seems to be working fine with plain vanilla posts. If I just use a regular text post it works fine. Apparently, it's the plugin that turns a post into a review that isn't compatible.

Must be something to do with the tags it wraps it in or something. I can do a little .php to modify themes but this plugin is out of my league.

So much for my million dollar idea!

I am not familiar with the plugin you are working with or how it works, but you may need to also use the 'runphp' or 'execphp' plugin that allows for certain php functions to work within a page or post.

    Greg,

Thanks for the help! I'll look into it further.

I found a workaround for the problem. If I put all my 'review' posts into their own category and name the category 'product reviews' they will all appear on the same page when I reference that category. Just trying to make things harder than I had to.
