Looking for 10 Good Warriors to Test Article Writing S/W--Not Spinner CLOSED

Hi folks,

We could use a little help from about 10 of you.

Tom (nextebizguy) and I have developed a new piece of software which is ready for testing and evaluation.

We haven't started marketing it yet and depending on your feedback may or may not.

Briefly, this is a minimalist word processor designed specifically for article marketers.

The current benefits include "in program" Google search for words or phrases, continuous word and paragraph count. A "find" feature and font selection.

If you highlight a word in the main text window and press the shift key, you can instantly target search Google for your selection (remember to keep it under 32 words -- Google's hard limit). You can open the search in either the included "mini-browser" or in your default browser--you decide.

If you highlight a word in the keyword frequency window and press shift, you can check dictionary spellings, quotations, or wikipedia (you select which one you want by right clicking).

In the keyword window, you can also highlight a word and use the "find" feature to highlight the keyword in the main text body.

The tool works with TXT and RTF files only (who wants to recreate MS Word?).

The program is a self contained ".exe" file. It will not change your computer in any way. It will not install .dll's or make registry entries on your machine. If the program fails to run, you'll probably need to update your computer to the latest version of Microsoft .Net framework.

If you'd like to help us us out please pm me. We really need your input and you'll be part in helping us make a great tool.

Thanks,

Elmer

Hey all, thanks for your interest. We really appreciate any feedback you can offer. The goal here is to make a tool to help you with article writing.

This is early beta and not feature complete. There will be more development and we would love you to suggest any features you think are "must have".

Further info about the program, much of what you do is driven based on selecting words. In the keyword frequency window, if you select a word, you can press shift and get results from a dictionary, quotes, or wikipedia. To select which one comes up, just right click in the window and pick.

    Summary
Text editor window- select text and press shift (instant results in Google).
Keyword window - select text and press shift (instant results in resource of your choice).

If you have questions, post them here. Thanks!

Thanks to all of you who were kind enough to volunteer to help us with this project. We have the 10 testers we asked for and a couple have already provided excellent responses.

We're looking forward to hearing from the rest of you in the next day or so.

You folks are the folks that makes WF the place that it is!
