Hey All,
I've been trying IM for almost a year, and I have reached my breaking point.
I've made only a few hundred bucks online since I started and it feels like my business is going nowhere fast.

I tried a lot of methods including adsense, adwords, media buying, articles, list building and more.

I think I just need someone to guide me, someone who can tell me: "do this one thing" and show me how to do it.

My savings are almost gone and I have to start making at least $30 a day if I want to make rent.

can anyone of you take me under his/her wing for a few weeks and really show me how to make some money.

i know it's a very weird and very demanding thing to ask, but you will be CHANGING MY LIFE and I guess it will not take a lot of effort for some of you.

thanks anyway,
Munk

    Hey Munk,

Sorry to hear about your financial problems. I feel for you and I know a lot of others feel for you too. I may not be able to take you 'under my wing' so to speak but I can offer a little advice.

Is there anything you are good at doing? Can you write articles or do graphics or other things? If there is, you can run either a WSO or put a ad in the classifieds with your service. You may not make a fortune but you should be able to get enough to pay the rent and give yourself a little breathing room.

    Good luck and God Bless,

    Michael

    hi murray

let me quickly tell you a story i heard some time back

there was this lady that was supposed to have a qualifying swimming competition.the competition was staged very early in the morning though she has trained for quite a while but on this fateful morning when she rolled out with her trainer she swam for a good while until she started felling tired

her trainer continued to encourage her but later she said she could not continue yet her trainer would not allow her to give in like that

because the early morning fog could not let the both of them to see the distance they have covered the lady finally gave in and her trainer has to pull her over

when the fog vanished and everywhere was cleared the lady and her trainer went back to where they have stopped to see how far they did go but to their surprise if only the lady had stayed on for just some more minute she would have qualified for the championship.the distance to cover was just a stone throw to where she stopped.

my advice dont give up yet you might just about getting to the finished line!

Like others have said, If you can write something decent, then all that's needed is some consistent effort. you could easily make 30/day writing articles. Say 8 articles a day...It would probably take about 2 hours.

Start off getting some reviews and build up a client list. Then, create some quality plr sets and email the list about it, and post a wso for the PLR and your article service.

There is always a little beginning before the big breakthrough comes. Review all what you did, there is something you're doing right, get it right and start all over again but concentrate on your main strength, cheer up.

    Hi Munk,

If you don't want to end up broke - take up a job. Yeap, no matter how bad it sounds - it's much better than ending up with no money at all and THEN looking for a job.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago. I got a 9 - 5 job. Now I'm getting my wages and on top of that making decent extra money online. I can afford taking holidays a few times a year and enjoy life at its full - despite being fully employed.

Believe me - it's not the worst place to be, if you want it real hard you can get there and who knows - if it takes off, you can sack your boss indeed! ;-)

You say you "tried" stuff, but how much. Adsense for example is only ever going to work as a significant income if you scale it up to industrial levels using a ton of generation tools etc and a ton of niche research. How much did you actually do?

To take the pressure off so you can focus clearly without panicking, take a job and pay that rent now.

      huh?

Adsense works great if you have retarded amounts of traffic in a niche that pays halfway decent.

Hi MunkMurray - Sorry to hear of your situation and hope I can point you in the right direction.

The key is to focus on one thing. If you try to do too many things at once with the sole intention of making money then it will not work.

Try something you are interested in. I am interested in blogging and social networking so I concentrate on those areas.

Try to add value rather than earn money.

Get hold of the book "The Go Giver" by Bob Burg and John David Mann it will change your perspective.

If money is pressure for you then find a job to pay the bills and then laser focus on one thing online in your spare time to build something of value - it will pay off in the end but not if you just chase the cash.

    Cheers
    Keith

    Hi Munk again,

By the way - there's another option apart from selling info products, being an affiliate, writing articles etc...

Namely - selling hard products on eBay or starting your own online store. This option is overlooked by many, and can bring just amazing results. My mentor Andrew is doing it with great success, and here's his article on how to own your own shop for slightly more than a hundred bucks:

    Shopperpress for Wordpress - Review

It's hell a lot of work too, but if you've been failing to find the right niche in info selling, it might be the way to go.

    Regards,

    Robby

    Wow!
thank you all for the support,
of course i've started looking for a job but I really hoped I could use my year off to set up a steady income.
since i've not been able to do that, i'm pretty much disappointed.

I'll start looking into all you r suggestions and hopefully I can start focusing on one thing rather than doing many things at once and hoping something somehow will get me some cash.

    thanks a lot

This was also my biggest obstacle. I had like a dozen of different projects and eventually didn't get anything done! Now I've two projects and a detailed step-by-step plan for both of them. Works perfectly!
