I have a similar thread as my recent one but a different problem. My friend purchased a website and i am attempting to help him, but i am just as lost and clueless. I am using the FTP on the godaddy website (I tried Filezilla, cofeecup, etc. but i am having problems with those and am done fiddling with them.) I have uploaded my website files but the html pages dont show up on the website (kingarthursauction.com) How do I upload it and make it show up as the index page? Sorry i know i am an absolute newb but i am tryin real hard.

You might want to check the DNS settings for this site - I tried your link and got the following message: Oops! Google Chrome could not find kingarthursauctions.com

kingarthursauctions.com is listed in whois as "available" instead of listed as a registered domain.

What domain did you register? ...and when?

Never mind - I FOUND IT. I added an "s" at the end in error.

But - it was registered yesterday. It may not be ready yet - if you repointed the DNS it would not be propagated yet.

It says clearly at This Web site coming soon
You either didn't upload the site/files or uploaded incorrectly.

There zillion video tutorials on youtube and everywhere on the net about using a FTP client.

Check your other post about this, I gave you a detailed description. You have to "add the domain" to the hosting control panel.
