Do not use your MLM companies web site

Many of us start of using the web site that our company provides. We don't understand why we should not use it.
#1 Your company web site sells the company. Your prospect do not care about company XYZ they care about their problems. You first need to address their problem is it the problem the product solves or the problem your opportunity solves.

Then you can use the company web site to sign them up but only after you have shown them how you can solve their problems.

#2 You need to have a marketing system that walks your prospect selling them different product. The book E-Myth says the business that use marketing systems 95% of the succeed.

That'S not to mention that everyone else is using the Exact same page with duplicate content. My other issue is all the bells, whistles and other things that distract fro
the call to action on most Corp sites

      I'm new to this site.

Is there a section to advertise Direct Sales or Network Marketing Companies? I don't see one.

      Thanks!

Gotta go against the grain here.

If it's a good company, it's likely the page converts... as in it helps you sell product.

If not, then find a new company.

I'm contacted several times a week by guys who have tried to re-work the "company" page themselves and want me to fix it for them (usually for $100).

If these guys stuck with the bog-standard page in the beginning they might have a chance of making enough money to have it re-done by a professional.

So unless you have a history of creating stellar direct-response pieces I'd leave it as is.

Always looking for badass direct-response copywriters. PM me if we don't know each other and you're looking for work.

But the weakness of this approach is you have one shot only of making the sale. With them opting in to your OWN list before they go to the high converting sales page you talk about you can promote the opportunity (or any thing else) to them at any time, now or in the future.

    Allan,

Totally agree RE: building a list.

But I'd be surprised if these companies didn't give you the opportunity to do that.

Admittedly... I'm not familiar with MLM.

But the few company websites I've seen were good.

You build the list for sure with a mlm if you want to make money. You just have them ready to join before they even see the company site.

Most don't which leaves their distributors in the lurch if the company goes under. More importantly it deprives the distributor from the long term profitability a list provides.

BTW, it's not only MLM that do this - a high percentage of affiliate sites when they provide an optin form, it's for the affiliate managers list.

Anyway, for both MLM and affiliate offers it's not difficult to put a capture page in place, get the subscribers details, then have the autoresponder redirect them to the MLM or affiliate offer sales page.

In MLM industry the main priority is YOU not the company or product. If you can show your leadership and why people should trust you, then no matter what kind of company, website or any other tool you use.

Regarding the marketing system, I agree you have to have one, as otherwise you cannot get the leads. The No. 1 marketing system currently is MLMLeadSystemPro, which provides full marketing funnel.

You drive traffic to this system, and then you close them step by step without any push - people just sign up for themselves.

With MLM you've got to be creative these days as the failure rate is quite high. I've had previous successes, but it was in making it my OWN presentation and language that set me apart from the others.
