My CB Business Model Idea - The Rough Blueprint

Here's something I've been meaning to set up for a while now, being involved so much in real products I know want to go into Clickbank, "virtual products"... I thought I'de share my idea. I'm Going to need about $100-$200 to start off with.

I'm going to build a website called something like "TheReviewCentre" or "ReviewLand" or something

It's going to based completely on HONESTY. So It's me, I own the website. Not John the Gardener, or Harry the bloke with a small penis... It's me.

I'm going to take products on CB, buy them and do an honest very comprehensive video review. I'll also write some notes. And then I'll honestly say whether I recommend it.

I'll take products from any category, not claiming to be an expert, but a very good and honest reviewer. I will of course look up each topic before I review, and compare the products to simialr ones in that market.

Eventually I want to build a brand around the website name and start a process where I build bonuses for each product I recommend.

The site will gain traffic from SEO mainly. I might give PPC a try, but I'm not a wizard at PPC really. I will venture into forums also and get involved with markets talking about certain products that I have honestly reviewed.

This is early days yet but it will be something like this

You say the site will get traffic from SEO mainly. So are all your seo efforts going to be focused on people looking for reviews of the products or are you going to be giving relevant information in that topic and then refer them to the review?

The traffic will be substantially greater with the second option. I do this same process with books. I read a crap ton these days about success and stuff like that. I have a blog devoted to becoming successful and then when appropriate I link to my success book reviews, these link to amazon etc and works like a charm.

Being an honest reviewer will help build your reputation as someone to listen to. good basic business model. Lots of steps left out thus far though =)

I'de try and rank for product names, and topics of products.

Just build links to the product pages and also hopefully naturally gain links from forums etc.

You said you'll review products from any category. I think you'll do great if you stick to one category and mind you any one competitive category will be enough to keep you busy as new products keep launching all the time, not only will it help to get targeted subscribers, it will help building you list based on that niche and will immensely help building a brand and you will easily be seen as the 'go to guy' for a certain niche.

If you still want to venture into different categories, you can do that with multiple websites with each website dedicated to a certain category.

You're going to have trouble ranking for product names mostly because the product creators themselves won't allow you to go against them on their own keywords. You're also limiting yourself to those already looking for that product only. You should try and reach out to people interested in the subjects and bring them to the reviews.

You're on the right track though. Keep at it. You're going to notice a successful business plan will change all the time.

Which product creators don't allow this on CB?

I will initially do the product names because this is the low hanging fruit.

I will afterwards go for other terms.

All product creators pretty much. I'm talking more for adwords and domain names.

Hey Joe! (always wanted to say that!)

I've seen a few sites around like this already. I'd be interested in some raw data back here for traffic etc.

    Good luck!
