Do Videos Drop Off of Google Quick?

The other day I uploaded a video to Tubemogul and grabbed tons of top ranks in Google just as planned... but now they are nowhere to be found.

This was one of the first times I have used Tubemogul (correctly), so I am not sure if this is normal for video or not... does anyone know?

    If they do drop out fast, be patient. I have videos on there that rank really well. They have been out there for awhile, some a year or more, but they continue to hold rankings. For example, for the search term: reduce wireless expenses, a video "newsletter" I did is still ranking for #2, 4 and 7.

    just put them out there and if they should come back if they drop out for awhile. building some links to them wouldn't hurt either i guess.

      That depends heavily on how you name them.

      If you name a video according to a long tail keyword phrase that doesn't have too much competition you should stay on the first page of google for that keyword phrase with your video.

      You probably won't be number 1 though.
