Can I Offer My Ebook Through More Than 1 Merchant?

8 replies
Hi folks...

was just wondering...I have just finished my ebook and want 2 put it on the market but there a couple of things I'm not sure about;

(i) Can I offer it through more than 1 merchant. for example, can I put it on clickbank, amazon and paydotcom at the same time?

(ii) Can I have varying prices for each merchant. for example, Can I offer it through clickbank for $10 and on Paydotcom for $5 at the same time?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    You can do that but don't expect any affiliates to want to promote it because that looks really shady. Affiliates will feel they are losing money and are being ripped off.

      Yep I agree with scrofford. But you can try to testing with diffrent sales letter, diffrent author and diffrent price. So you can see which one more profitable

        Then you have the exact information circulating with different Titles , authors, and sales pages . Think the buyers are going to be pissed when they purchase three copies of the same information?

          I'll have to agree with you Troy...that wouldn't help my credibility but in the same vein, I might just test the market using sales letters and different editions while keeping prices the same.

    There are no laws governing this unless you enter some exclusive contract. But you don't want to confuse the Market with different pricing IMO.

    It's your ebook, do as you please with it as long as the affiliate site agrees with the process within it's TOS.

    I agree you can do what you want with your ebook.
    If you have your product at different merchants for different prices.
    You may get emails from customers who want that discount.
