Help Desk Support Survey

Greetings!

I have already done an extensive search on WF using "help desk" and read about 95% of everything I found (it's amazing to me how many threads there are regarding what software to use).

Anyway, I created a short survey regarding help desk support and am looking for participants to respond to it. The link to the survey is in my signature.

    A help desk of some type is really required. Some simply use email , some use software systems.

    There is a thread here somewhere how to use Gmail as a help desk. I think Big Mike might have started it. Just going from memory.

      Thanks, Scott. I've already read it and just posted a reply.

      However, the point of my survey isn't whether a help desk is needed or not. I AM a Help Desk Support professional and am just doing a bit of research for my new site.

        Ah...ok.. I didn't know that. You know help desks really well then. I've created help desks in the past myself.

          NP, guess I should have been more clear initially.

          Yes, I do know help desks really well, although I've never had to install or configure one. I just provide the support, although as I develop my new site, I'm thinking I'm going to have to learn installation and configuration tasks. Not really trying to go that direction, but, we'll see where things lead.
