I am having a problem, I want to start building blogs that bring in money. I do not know the best ways to make money with them though. I do not want to use adsense as I feel the payoff is to low. So I came to the old weapon shed to see what ideas I can get. How would you guys recommend I monetize a blog for MAXIMUM profits. I may also be looking to flip off these blogs as well.

Well, if you're looking to flip, people LOVE AdSense blogs that are even making a few cents...

I'd highly recommend Amazon and CPA offers. CPA is huge right now and Amazon is just a very consistent way to bring in passive income.

I would say CPA offers with relevant content (preferably text-linked within the content itself) would be the best and most profitable way to monetize it, if you don't want to touch Adsense.

You could also try promoting one or two highly targeted and proven products as an affiliate, too (again, as long as it's relevant).

Doing it the CPA way would actually work for me. But what type of offers do you believe would work the best? Let's say for example I was writing a blog about dating or relationship advice.

You could lease advertisement slots for some running income.

OR, if you're looking to flip, advertise some affiliate offers through your own link and then use them to make a couple of sales..

You want to first build a following, build some participation (which means your readers are becoming engaged, start to like you and help you add to your content which is great for additional search engine and RSS rankings) - then you can recommend things your audience may find useful - that can be done within the post itself, on your navigation panels or within separate pages.

As someone mentioned above, if you're looking to flip them, there is nothing wrong in considering Adsense. And regarding the monetization methods, there are many. In the past, I have used different methods to monetize my sites. Majority of the earnings were from selling links - then from selling blog posts - and then from affiliate products. Me too tried adsense, but couldn't earn much from it. But I'll be definitely recommending you to use adsense, if you're thinking of flipping your sites for profit.

I wouldn't sniff at adsense if I were you. Some people make a decent income with adsense. Just think you should not dismiss it without due consideration

Make blogs targeting some (micro) niche where there are products on Clickbank or CPA for that matter. Write VALUABLE information, because people are NOT dumb. Monetize with ads, banners etc...and stay away from hypey sales pages.

You could also make a forum for people with certain interests in some niches, hobbies, health...etc.

There is no "best way" per se. There are only potentialities. You first need to know your readers. Some might even say intimately before you monitize a blog. It could drive away your true 1000 or it might take off like a wildfire in a canyon...

Don't you need to have a certain number of visitors first before you can sell links on your blog?

If you're getting quite a bit of traffic to your site you could sell ad spaces.

Otherwise, you could try putting a few affiliate banner ads around your site, or write some reviews of some good products for whatever the niche is in and link to the site with your aff link.

Or have an optin page on the side of your blog or as a pop up, offer them an incentive to join your list, build trust with them, and once in a while send them good products either your own or others. More long term than the others.

IMO the best way to monetize a blog is to sell there your own product. This can be an ebook, a course or anything, but you'll make more money by launching your product than by using adsense.

Think about using your blog to build a list. A list is the true asset in internet marketing. The good thing about using a blog to build a list is that it will be a targeted list so long as the traffic to the blog is targeted.

IMHO i think the best way to monetize your blog IF you want to flip it later is by using adsense. If you decide to use CPA offers how do you explain to your potential buyers that they have to open their own CPA account before they could also make money with the offers advertised in your blog? or do you flip your CPA accounts as well?
Adsense is a very easy and much less complicated way to monetize your blogs, all you need to do is concentrate on sending quality traffic to them blogs.
    I wish you success.

My experience is that it depends on the niche. Some niches affiliate programs do well, while others AdSense brings more money. Course no reason you can't use both.
