If you could, would you put it on your fridge?

First off the main reason of this post is to ask a question, even though it has nothing to do with your fridge. Don't worry I will stay out of your fridge even though I am hungry. Did I see some pie in there? Mmmm pie

What I am wondering is how many people actually take the time to make their own graphics?

Normally I am just to busy and simply pay somebody else who has more experience with these kinds of things to make my graphics for me. I can honestly say that I have done very little of my own graphic work even though I could if I took the time. In the past people like Daren Kay (Graphic Genie) and Lucy Weber have made me graphics that I could not come close to their level of skill without wasting days of my time.

However I decided to take the last couple of days (and probably the next few) to lay back and simply create and promote a report I will be sharing with you, hopefully tomorrow. Some of you may know that I normally do not do work in the IM niche since I found others to be way more profitable. So this is a little bit of a change of pace for me and an opportunity to share a technique I really enjoy using to promote everything from my own products to CPA offers.

I have to say it has been rather exciting to get back in touch with some old IM buddies that I have not talked to in quite awhile, as well as make some new friends. Some of them even by accident.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to learn a little about how many people actually take the time to do their own graphics work. If possible even learn what kind of software people are using to create their covers and other website graphics.

So please share with us all some of your digital art work and give us some insight on how and what you used to create it with.

Here is the ecover I made last night. The bigger the better IMO My ecover

It started with this question mark I created in 3D Studio Max. It has been awhile since I have used this software but I used to do quite a bit of animation and found it easier to get the desired effect I was looking for this way.

Once that was done I went and took the question mark image and imported it into PhotoShop and worked it into an ebook template that was given to me by a friend. Then I simply went and altered the template to what the vision that I had in my head and added the text. After playing around with various fonts I saved the file and sent it back. Then he used the Black Belt E-Covers script and created the cover for me.

I know I did not really do all of the work. I have made an ecover or two in the past without a script and it took me a couple of hours and did not look near as good as BBC did in a matter of minutes.

I also made a header simply in 3D Studio Max but I will not bother sharing that at the time. After all nobody likes a show off. lol

I know it is not all that great. I have seen lots better but I am proud that I can honestly say that it is my own.

Now it is your turn. Share your digital art work skills with the rest of us. Who knows it might even get you some work doing graphics for others.
