I guess it's just another way to say 'return on your time'.
And it was always insurance - never the mortgage. It was the back-end product because by that time you'd already spent a few hours building a relationship of sorts with the client, the hard work was done and the insurance (which could easily pay more than the mortgage commission) could be done relatively quickly.
What would you say is the best pound (or dollar) per hour activity for you?!
My gut feeling is that it'll be email marketing ....
